As the 2 Directors – Jason Folley and Jason Hayes, we established the company in 1996 and we have over 60 years’ building experience between us.
We have worked on over a thousand successful building projects throughout the South-West of England and our passion for quality building can be seen in our portfolio of renovations, extensions, new build and home conversions.

Jason Folley, Director
Jason Folley has worked in the building trade for 18 years and is a qualified accounting technician.
Jason will probably be your first contact with Buildex and after your initial site visit; he will put together a comprehensive and realistic quote for you. He specialises in the sourcing of building products and negotiating with suppliers, so you can be assured of quality materials at reasonable prices.
Following the Federation of Master Builder’s guidelines – Jason will liaise with you to co-ordinate a mutually agreeable payment schedule, to help you plan your building project together.
As a member of the National Trust and English Heritage, Jason is passionate about helping Buildex restore period properties.
Jason Hayes, Director
Jason Hayes’ directorial responsibility is ensuring that a project meets a high-quality of finish, on-time.
Managing the schedule and the internal fittings of a project means that Jason communicates between the on-site Buildex team, the client and suppliers.
With over 25 years’ building experience, Jason offers a wealth of construction expertise to clients.
Favourite projects of Jason’s are new build and contemporary extensions – working and developing initial designs with a client and bringing the whole project to life as a finished home.
Scott Bennett, Manager
Scott brings over 25 years of building expertise to the Buildex team. Responsible for external building works, Scott works on-site, managing and co-ordinating the Buildex team.
Scott’s expertise lies in communicating with suppliers to ensure a project is run to schedule and within budget. He regularly reports to and communicates with local planning officers, architects and designers.
Scott specialises in building quality extensions and renovation projects.
The Team
Buildex are proud of their team who have worked for them for a number of years.
The team have been trained by Buildex via the CITB – the Construction Industry Training Board in their apprenticeship programme.
In the past, Buildex trainees have won the prestigious accolade of Apprentice of the Year.
